my acer iconia tab a500 locks up

i have an acer iconia tab a 500 locks up has been on charge all day it's only at 15% and won't go no farther. i have reset it with no luck and i can't get past the unlock screen when off the charger. does any one else have this issue or know how to fix it it or what is causing it. i'm new to the android tablets but not android phones.

it died and i was able to get it to 15% but after that it won't charge.

There were several reports of this earlier in the year. Try a search of the forum for 15 percent.
I can't remember what the outcome was, but I think they had to be sent in for warranty repair.
There was nothing wrong with the charger, as I recall. It was an internal issue.
