My Archos 70 Internet Tablet Is Alive ....

After sitting on my desk all night, my Archos 70 Internet Tablet 250GB is back to life!

Seems to be working, but I'll have to check it out more to make sure ....

I'm thinking that I should erase the HD, and reinstall the original software. I'm not sure though ....

Just spoke with Archos Tech Support. They told me to reinitialize the HD and do a clean install. I have the firmware downloaded to my MacPro, and the Archos is in the process of reformatting ....

Hopefully this will get my Archos back to health .....

Didn't work ... Now I'm getting and error message:

"Error. Update file is not valid. (206)"

I called Tech Support again, and they ran me through the more complete procedure for reformatting. Still get the same error as above.

So now, my unit is completely nonfunctional .....
