Need advice to make decision between Le Pan TC970 or Le Pan II

I'm in the process of buying a Le Pan Tablet but wondering if I should buy a Le Pan 970 or a Le Pan 11. There is 100 $ difference in price.

Never owned a tablet before. I want one for convenience because our Laptop is a 17inch one.

Will mostly use it for web browsing, Facebook and emailing.

I really think that you'll be disappointed with the performance of the 970. The higher performance specs of the LePan II are definitely worth the extra price. If you have a little more though, I would suggest the ASUS tf300 over the LePan.

The thing is I can by over amazone.ca the 970 for 175 $ and the Le Pan II for 275 $. I just checked the Asus tf300 and they are at 400 $ which is a bit over my budget.

After what you said, I am really inclined to go with the Le Pan II.

In that case, a refurbed ASUS tf101 would also be a great choice. It's my main tab and I love it!
