Plz help with root questions

Hello All,

So yesterday I rooted my Nook Color, btw it is a AWESOME little device!!

since this is my first time rooting anything, I am curious what is ClockworkMod? What does it do? And is there a step by step to overclock NC?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the links, but I am hoping someone can instruct me how do install ClockMod step by step, I am a noobie and have never attepmted anything like this before....

Make sure you read through everything carefully. Download rom manager from the market then flash clockworkmod recovery in the app. After you flash you will have clockwork recovery. Read the above threads first.

Clockworkmod recovery is a full system back up utility.

-Install ROM manager
-From ROM manager, flash Clockworkmod recovery
-Boot into recovery either by rom manager or hold "n" and power button on startup
-Once in CWR, hit backup (this will back up your entire system to a folder on your SD card)
