[ROM] Ployer/Generic 7" A13 [ Android 4.0.4 Hyper Edition ]

I have moved on from the A13 chipset, as I have moved onto Aniol ELF and Burning development, this rom is currently very stable and the screen is fine, so is the meter, you simply have a incompatible tablet.

You can try, but you will fail probably, same as my "McBub clone". ROM working except offset of screen and mirrored touchscreen. You can find firmware (by my seller original one) in one of my previous posts. Can you please send a "lsmod" output from your tablet? I have a problem that after i upgraded firmware, my accelerometer stopped working, so Im trying to find, which driver I should use. Thanks mrspock

Well, you have exactly same lsmod as me (except 8192cu, which I am missing, as it could me my non functional accelerator), so I guess you will have same problems as me (screen offset+mirrored touch screen). You can try though, you can always go back to original firmware.

hi all,
finally i found my orignal rom, so I could test your firmware (4.0.4 Hyper Jelly)
- Wifi, sound, mic, webcam works !
- the image/screen is shifted to the left (no in center)
- the touchscreen don't work very not well !!! (for example the direction of changes were reversed), Luckily I utlise mouse of the computer...
- research vocal work well (not as in my original ROM, which is not incompatible
- some freezes

I'm back on my original firmware, but thanks !

Minor updates are in the works such as USB gamepad compatible otg, Mali clock set and lastly more LCD density control.

You know that moment when you realise that you should have backed up your original ROM?

Ah well, this one works pretty well, only issue really is the accelerometer being 90 degrees out, as observed by others, apart from this it's fine.

At the moment I have it set to not rotate the scree automatically, which helps some, I was just wondering if there was some way of telling the accelerometer the correct orientation, having Root means it'd be possible to alter parameters if I had a clue where to look.

Hi, i found solution on some android forum, its some parameter in ini file, try to find something about rotated touchscreen or so. I know i didnt helped you exactly, but at least you know there is solution.
