& should Android Market work on this unit?

Try:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

This should work from a terminal emulator even if not rooted.

Thanks, but i'm not a programmer. How do i get onto a terminal emulator? Isn't there a search available from the tab itself?

My wifi keeps gettin disconnected even though its showing fullbar on my netgear wireless

Thanks Again, But........
I've down loaded the terminal emulator from Appslib, I've opened it up, there's one line of code, a "$" sign & blinking curser but no way to input your "cat /proc/cpuinfo" code. I've "copy/pasted" the code line in, but when "entered", no scroll of information displayed.
I guess I should download instructions on how to use the emulator, but was hoping the original question wasn't that difficult.

WORK OUT ! IT IS : Android for M1E by Styleflying

I can flash ROM with FWN kit + VTC driver, 4GB internal, lk.rom , apps.rom , slash.rom 3 files given by PAD local support in HK (android 2.1), no market enable. aluminium case.
