I like to read my book on my tablet and at the same time listen to some music.
Is it possible to open one app. in the background and the other in foreground at the same time?

Yes. You can listen to music from various sources while browsing the web / reading books. For example, I often to listen to music from either Pandora or my SD card while surfing the web on my Viewsonic G-tablet.

Same with all my Tabs. There are some things you cannot do simultaneous for many tablets. Play Games and music or other CPU intensive processes. The music gets choppy. Also some Internet Radio can get choppy if browsing the Internet at the same time
