Allwinner Polaris P1 Dual Core - No Updates Option in System Folder

Hi, I bought this tablet for sole purpose to learn Android rooting upupdatesi have a unlocked one and I think it's rooted but I installed cm security it ask permission to allow root so I guess I can root. I am wanting to upgrade to kitkat or L. I'm new to this but can follow instructions any help is appreciated and needed. Thanks.

PS typo in furum I meant I have no system updates in selection. From about phone.
