Battery consumption using a memory card

Hi all.

Im looking at picking up an Archos 70 or 101 and was wondering how the battery life would be effected using a memory card? I want the table for long haul flights and therefore want to maximum the battery life.

the color nook or the archos 70 are your options.. The Archos is excellent playing movies...I buy mine online, in ipad format at Moviedir.com..there about 5-600mb per movie, so a 16gb card holds alot of movies. battery life with wifi off and the screen set to 50 percent brightness is 7-8 hours..Im very happy with the Archos.. there hard to find.. Amazon says they'll be in on Sunday??
