Easy way to get Google market/Apps on your gen 8 device...

Update your Appslib app to the latest version... go here in your browser on your Archos

AppsLib

Click the little bag it'll promt to install when download is complete...

Open the appslib market do a search for "arctools" install

Open the app select "default apps & market" hit "download" then "install"

when done reboot and sign in to google for market goodness and apps..

if there is a specific app that you can't seem to find try this fix.. ( http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/archos-tablets/5518-see-more-market-apps-archos-market-fix.html ) it helps.. still can't find it.. go to google web market find the app and try to install from there.. when you sign in it should give you an option to send the app to your Archos

The thanks should go to the developer that brought this nice little piece-o-scripting wonder... wish there was a way to thank him ... haven't checked the appslib functions for contactig devlopers.. do they even have an option for that..lmao
