i bought one of these things to be a ereader for my wife. i did the pirate update, market worked etc etc.

well the one issue is alkido ( sp? ) works but does not work right. it slowly shifts the pages to the left. not as you read but each page turn is a little further to the left, until you can see the next page showing up. when you get to a new chapter it starts over.

any ideas? also market does not work anymore???

if i cant fix this issue it will be going up for sale, as it is very annoying when you cant see the left side of the page you are on, but you can see the next one.

ps i did email alkido but never got a reply, in over 10 days

Alkido did not work for me. I use FBReader from FBReader: Download. Supports epub, html, txt formats.

Market never did work for me, you can do a google search for apps.

it has to do w/ the last FW update.

I used Aldiko w/ NO issues, then I ran through the last FW update and had the EXACT same thing happen, it was REALLY frustrating because I like Aldiko otherwise.

However when it got to the point that my wife wouldn't use it anymore I went looking and tried 1/2 dozen different readers.

the one she uses now, and cant putr down, is Ireader.

I think it may hev evern come with the augen (I don't know Ive been grabbing Android apps for over a year now.

but if you dont have it klook for it you'll like it

also if you have a PC (windows or linux) get Calibre for your desktop.

Aside from reading and rganizing your books it dioes a GREAT job at CONVERTING.

I find that I can cut a PDF by about 75% by making ot EPUB.
