Caution: If your tablet was shipped with Android 2.2 DO NOT UPDATE! These update files are beta and months old.
This process was originally intended for the manual upgrade of 2.1 tablets.

So what should I do with a tablet that came with Android 2.2 out of the box, but now won't boot past the Disgo logo? Any help most appreciated.

Hi i am trying to update my disgo 6000 with the Fryo 2.2 update but cannot download the ius file. I have tried to follow your link but it gives the following scrambelled text.

"WuIì =÷›½ê°WuIòWuIóZWuIMƒWuIÐWuI áëêðŸåðŸå ðŸåðŸåðŸåðŸåðåàxV4xV4xV4xV4xV4xV4xV4l€áÀãӀãð)á ë|Ÿå|ŸåÜ@â0å0å 㠀å€âPáûÿÿðå„ ãîîîÀã Àã Àã€ãîPî€ãPîÀ á·ë à áð á á á á¨Ðå.ëÀÿ¿O"

please help.

Thank you to all the put this site together. I have successfully put my tablet back in working order. I the tablet with the specs below.
Model Number
SYTABEX7-2
Android Version
DG2.20
Hardware ID
11.2.3.1
Firmware
DG2.2.1-7a3.b5

I rooted it and renamed the Phone.apk file and the tablet didn't like that. I tried to reverse my changes but that didn't work.
- I downloaded the file below using the instructions at the top of the thread for my tablet the file below was downloaded
- http://222.73.93.45/update/11.2.3.1/7901UC_11.2.3.1.2.0_beta3.ius
- Used the IUW1.2 application to burn the file to a Micro SD card
- Turned off the tablet
- Inserted the Micro SD card
- Powered on the tablet and the image was burned to the device
Now when I verify the settings in About Device the information below is shown
Model Number
SYNET7LP
Android Version
DG2.20
Kernel version
2.6.32.9
neville@neville-desktop #17
Hardware ID
11.2.3.1
The Model number changed from SYTABEX7-2 to SYNET7LP.

Thanks again for all of knowledge on this site.

Followed the instructions and it was showing that it was installing the new software but when i rebooted the tablet nothing changed.. only looks like it had done a factory reset.

Hello,
I am new to the site and am just learning the Androids. I have two SVP7901 tablets. One is great the other is stuck on the android screen. From what I can tell i need the 11.2.1.8 ius file. I have tried several attempts to download this file and only get a screen of text. Could someone guide me in the right direction or please supply me a link so I could get this file? I hope this is posted in the correct location!

Thanks In Advance!

I received the "1" also when I tried to find 11.2.3.1

Very frustrating.

I am not as savy with the coding as many I see in this forum, but pictures help. I am afraid I am going to have to trash my Sylvania Sytabex7-2 because it is just not lending itself anymore to trouble free use.

Anyone have any help for a layperson?
