Samsung Tab 2 10.1 Unresponsive, Won't Turn On or Charge

My tablet is less than 2 years old and out of warranty. Yesterday, I was watching shows on an app for a few hours before leaving to pick a friend up from the airport. I left it on to charge while I was gone. When I returned the tablet was unresponsive. I’ve tested the cable and the adapter, both seem to work fine. I’ve tried pressing and holding the power button, the power button and the volume button at the same time but nothing works. Even plugging the device into a computer didn’t do the trick. The computer doesn’t recognize the tablet at all.
I’m bewildered and broke since I just paid to get my car fixed. I really hope someone can help or has experienced this problem and can offer suggestions to get it fixed that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

Welcome to the Forum.

Sounds like you tried the usual fixes. It may need a battery replacement.
You may want to have a local repair shop check it.
