Just a quick notice here, our webhost is currently down, they claim the issue will be resolved "shortly".

EDIT: It's back up now.

EDIT2: the 10" ICANN is really a Infotmic X210, which seems to be running the same setup as the Sytabex7, with a bit more hardware. Forum member dlzc is donating one of these models to help our efforts, so as I've stated before, most infotmic devices have a change of working with our upcoming release, but only the models we have will be guaranteed to work fully.

We're still working out all the bugs, it's proving slightly more difficult then we had hoped due to the non-gpl compliance issues. We got touch recognition, but its dimensions are off, this is seen in the video, we need to properly mount sd cards, and verify wifi and make a power consumption profile. It seems sound is operational since the boot sound works. We should be receiving a 10" ican tuesday then we will start testing on that as well. Its pretty similar to most of the upgraded sylvania tabs and should increase compatibility for the release.

Call me a cynic, but I hear a lot of talk, and numerous requests for donations, but nothing real yet.

Anybody can write a program to put some BS on a screen... but a full scale releasable... version, that's 1000x more difficult.

As you said it IS 1000x more difficult. Which is why we haven't made a release yet. That and the fact they we do in fact have lives, girlfriends, and college course which just started last week. And for the record, I have never asked for cash donations. Or even tablet donations. We do make the option known in our signature, and we do accept willing hardware donations, but I have never asked someone directly. For instance, the tablet which should arrive today was donated by someone who was asked by another follower of this thread to donate it since it has some software glitches anyway. We're doing this for free, in whatever spare time we have, if you'd rather talk this talk and take away from my free time by all means continue. If you would rather see the release of a fully functioning, update-able cyanogenmod 7 based port, then let's talk constructively about the topics we are currently working on. I think we handle our project quite well and we take the time to get to know the scene and keep you guys posted, you should be more thankful for that.

As a somewhat related note, anyone who has been helpful to us along the way will be included in the "special thanks to" section of the roms about screens.

I agree with Tech we all have lives to lead as well and I can imagine how much effort is being put into there release because I am putting hours in every day to try and get my port up and running too I’m sure soon we will both have solutions available that people can chose from.

Tech don't forget to redesign in portrait mode the task bar, the icons should be more small so they can fit in, the back arrow its always half shown, even if you change the clock format for 24hours shown, in landescape you don't have that problem, so ill ask you guys to do something about it please, I always use the tab in portrait mode rather than landscape; maybe the icons are OK, but the square that its rounding over them should be smaller, then it would show the complete icons well and the back arrow complete, keep it in mind if you guys can do something about it; this only happens to the ex tab cause the rotation icon shows and over the lp tab doesn't show any rotation icon cause it has the sensor
