Trying to Identify Kernel, Possible Overclocking Possibilities for DM7022 Radio

I received my ES777A and i'm going to install it in my car tomorrow.
I was trying the android pad.This evening it restarted around three times. It crashes with most apps then it restart.
Any one had such problem. Is there any solution for it?

Which apps specifically? Mine works fine even with some apps that are not certified for use with the pad.

I've ordered one bluetooth obd week ago
I guess I found out how it works in the near future
When OBD-II Scanner Connected To car And the tablet to main unit
I never worked on android System So I guess that it was fun to learn
Have the option to upgrade android 2.3 system to 4.0 ics & 4.1 jelly bean ?
I understand there is something called Rom ?

About app Most important for me is waze
I use it on mi IPhone
I have been told that There is a version for android

Waze is average in my country, search for it on Google Play.
I also ordered a BT OBD only to find out it does not work with the pad. So I use it with my phone and its all good.
If you leave the OBD in the slot, you stand the risk of draining the car battery, use with caution!

Hi Makso,

The bluetooth obd device is available on ebay & the obd app by ian hawkins is available from the google play store, however if i remember right the bluetooth is in the main unit & not the tablet & this is a problem, there is a discussion earlier in this thread where forum members were trying to get it to work with our systems, i cant remember if they managed to get it working so please check before you spend any money on the obd bluetooth adaptor or the obd app.
The android 2.3 system used on our pads is a bit out of date as there are now 2 later versions (4.0 ics & 4.1 jelly bean) now available, that said 2.3 is still running well & is capable of running every app that ive wanted to run so far, so I would say its a bit old but its also a very capable operating system.
Many members have added car friendly apps to improve things, i have added ultimate car dock / filmon / tunein app as well as other navigation apps to customise mine.

The issue I have is that 2.3 is not customised for Tablets so the icons are way too small to press especially when you driving (I know I know, no need to lecture me )
I am researching to increase the size of icons. Anyone done anything like that?

Thanks for the response but I have a charger from another tablet
Works well and charges the tablet when it is not charging anything good device does not turn off
The problem is that when connected to a charger then it turns off
Only rec button turns it on again
This same problem was with the original charger
And the device does not reach 100% only 92%
I'm considering sending it back just the tablet
Or wait for the installation of all system a day or two and then see how the tablet responds

I have to agree with you ref icon sizes & would love a updated unit, but after being ignored by both winmark and erising im not very likely to shove my hard earned money in their direction ! Both my main units now have broken catches, to rub salt in the wound despite erising ignoring my requests for replacement of the faulty part, they are now advertising the new model with ugraded catch system !


Im looking into a putting together a pad based system that will do most functions (gps music film nav etc) not worried a about dvd & would prefer a hdd or solid state memory solution for films & music in a ripped format, im thinking along the lines of a car radio linked to a pad by bluetooth etc


If you have any joy with the icon sizes please let me know .

When I try to connect the iPhone Bluetooth is asking code Of the device

When I turn on the gps program There are annoying beeps and speech of the gps stuck
Or running too fast
I noticed that the device itself boils From heat
And affects the tablet back
And take time to turn on the device
Sometimes yes and sometimes no

Anyone else having these problems Or similar ???

1) The code should show up on your phone, you just need to type it in.
2) What GPS program you using? If you using the stock iGo, there is an issue with speech, just install the new version a few pages back
3) What is the average temp there in Israel currently? Its normal for the tab to heat up to a certain temp but should not go so high as to turn it off or affect performance.
4) I got the same problem with the tab not turning on sometimes, just need undock and dock again. Again, we get what we paid for
