the support for video calling is in apps. Fring, and qik are great examples give them a try and let us know what kind of results you have.

You posted this twice but I will answer this differently for this one. You will have issue for twoway video if you think you are going to get vidPhone quality. You might get lowRes 15 frame per minut capability but that may be pressing it. But the vid h.263 requirements would really overdraw your likely CPU.

Sorry for the second letdown. You need at least 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor for potentially decent capability and in reality 2.2 with what your desires and wishes.

yes,, i tried applications like fring and qik..
but,, there is no option for video calling...

Can ,i upgrate my firmware version from 1.6 to 2.1,,

Please help me ,,i want to upgrate my apad firmware version..

Well, for advanced vidieo calling software, I think the Android 1.6 is a little bit of poor. We all know, the more advanced version is, the better calling quality would be.
So, you can conside to ungrand Android 1.6 to 2.1 or above if the hardware supports the advanced version. The best option is to choose Android 2.2 tablet.

I am not trying to browbeat you. But what part of the various responses indicate that you will not be able to update or run video phone software with your phone. You have too weak processor and the tablet as described does not have a general path for update to 2.1 or 2.2.

Stated by TipStir and I in a different thread to you. There might be a community firmware out there. But you will have to find it. There are so many low power tablets with different build sets out of China, it is next to impossible to point you precisely where.

Best of Luck, but you need to upgrade to a different tablet not attempt to pursue the near impossible.
