New Recovery: CWM 2.5.1.8 by goodoane

1. Copy Ideos S7 Froyo[/B] v1.1 Stable-Nor[/URL] to INTERNAL sd card

2. Wipe/Data Factory Reset
3. flash with Clockworkmod

ROM REBOOTS AFTER FIRST BOOT

Apps2sd Instructions
- Ext Partition MUST be on the internal SD card formatted as ext2 as a primary partition after your fat32 partition. Use easeus partition manager.

- Some apps & games like Angry Birds or Pocket Legends install to the sd card right from the market,
this bypasses the roms a2sd and uses froyo's which we all know eventually fills up space.

So what you have to do is:
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>SD card
Move all listed back to tablet. Reboot.

Not Working/Bugs:
MMs.apk: bug where it supposed to say compose when you hit menu
has a clock image instead of compose.

Market: if downloads stall or "disappear" do this
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>"All" Tab
for ease: Menu>Sort by Name

look for "Download Manager" open and clear data
look for "Market" open and clear data

Great ROM, smoking fast!! The only problem I have, and I also have it with the Indonesian one, is that Google voice does not work, I can't hear the other party. Do you have the same problem?

google voice? for calling you mean through your phone? never used it for that. i don't usually use my sim card in my tablet... damn t-mobile. i'll see if i can reproduce though and see what i come up with.

so far, i find ther is a few problems with this version ROM. the problem is as below :

1) when the MicroSD is unmount and ready to take out, the tablet will restart itself
2) the touch sensitive is not as gud as ur the other ROM ( Indonesian )
3) sometimes it will automatic state no radio signal

oh ya, wanted to ask. how to make tat u can sms more than 3 pages ? coz evrytime i type till it exceed more than 3 pages, it will automatically switch to MMS type.

not sure about the 3 pages thing for SMS i've never sent one that long lol, i'm most likely discontinuing this build in favor for the indonesian one... apps2sd works correctly on it and the data partition is bigger. thanks for the testing!

1) I'm pretty sure this is just a fastboot to mount and demount the card!
2) I'm on the stock NorROM and my screen is more sensitive so?
3) Haven't checked radio sensitivity, but, I will.

1) LOL, nope. i tested it quite thoroughly . 45 out of 50 times of unmount, i get reboot by itself. plus , sometimes it even disable my radio signal.
2) i m resistive screen, when i use Joenilan IndoROM, it works great for me the sensitive. But compare to these one, it was not as great as it was on my tablet. maybe to capacitive screen will be more better.
3) tat one is not common occur. but like i mention in No:1, it does happen. another time occur is i totally shut down, den power on again. well, mayb i m on indoROM b4 i install these rom, tats y it occur.

I use it with Simple mobile, it works great, although 2G, it is fast enough for me to use it as phone. Yes, GV connects but I don't hear any sound...

updated thread with taiwenese release... i think my a2sd is broken though. let me know.

this thread is now dedicated to releases from various countries. personally the taiwanese release feels snappier but the data partition seems to be smaller like the norwegian rom... indonesian still leads with most space... hmmm. why does it do this to me! hopefully just an a2sd problem.

I'm really curious why the fascination with apps2sd when there seems to be ongoing problems with it? link2sd is simple to deal with, it works without issue, and allows virtually unlimited installation of apps. Maybe I'm missing something here...
