I am just downloading it now. I know your pain. I have my S7 humming along nicely and a ROM upgrade means a few hours of setup on top of the load. I will get to it in the next day or two, but not really looking forward to it. At the same time I am curious about what is in the new ROM, and cannot wait to load it. :)

It's fun =) I don't really expect many changes. Though the serial number for the new version of the telstra rom:

V100R001C13B021SP02

Has SP02, after it. I wonder what they changed for telstra.

I just wish I knew what the breakdown was for the serial numbers.

Might have a look at all of the other rom serial numbers, and see if I can find a pattern. =)

My file had an invalid CRC, so I will download it from home tonight. I might try the Telstra and the Singapore one tonight.

It's interesting I think I've worked out the format of the Rom serials:

S7 V100 - Our Tablet
R001 - Release number (I guess if we see a R002 It's going to be android 2.2)
C13 - Provider (who's selling the tablet in this case Telstra)
B021 - Build number (I think this is provider based)
SP02 - Service pack? (this doesn't appear on all of the firmware files)

One thing I noticed when looking at all of the firmware lists @modaco all of the Orange firmwares (be it Spain or Slovakia) are C15.
and a number of the early firmware images have C01 (maybe for testing when they initially released the tablet.)

Anyway I could (and probably am) be totally wrong here, as I've noticed patterns.

I had trouble with the Singapore rom yesterday I got stuck in a boot loop so I tried the new one S7100R001C62B011 and it is working fine It came up in a different language but I managed to switch it to english. The only differnce I see is the Boot image now is Ideos in big letters instead of Huawei with the circles in small letters. Everything is working fine and I also did the apps2sd mod to it. the CPU clocks a 998

well I have installed the newer Telstra firmware. Other than the bloat of pre installed apps which I have since removed.

I cant see any real changes to be honest.
