If this prove successfully, maybe there will be a higher chance for CM9 but some of the stuff might not work well since I do not know any ics kernel for our tablet.
Gingerbread 2.3.4r3 is not success. I install 2.3.4r3 and starting 50 sec (2,2 in 30 sec), working slowly 20 % in big Gameloft games, Sacred Odyssey black textures and cannot play, Shift and Modern Combat go out.Chainfire 3D dont help.Working only new GoFire 2. In Multi touch paint app cannot open menu. How back up to 2.2 ? Gingerbread 2.3.4 NEED new mod kernel and overclock to 1000- 1200 Mhz ! I wait on this cyanogenMod . Thanks KillerKink.

Do you mean that in 2.2 the game are playable and faster? There is currently no way to improve the kernel as there does not seem to have a fully working source available. Is yours a multi-touch?

then it might be better for you to stay with 2.2. Its unlikely that cm7 will improve the game performance by 20%.
Only one problem, how back to 2.2 ? System can be tested by small game Shine Runner apk . On 2.2 this game worked rather fast (but hanging ), on Gingerbread working very slow ( but never hanging ).In another games is that some.
Generally 2.3.4r3 is stability, (never hanging), but working slowly at 2.2 in games.

yes, 3d is weak in gingerbread. Not sure in 2.2 though. There is no custom kernel coming as previously mentioned, there is no available fully working source unless you know of one? freescale came out with a more optimisation 2d/3d library(in feb) for android but we are not able to use it since the current kernel do not support it.
CM support cpu freq changes but only if your kernel support it and the current kernel only have a max freq of 800mhz.

Sure, thanks. It will take a while as I am trying to build the kernel for our tab. There are many things that do not work yet but its bootable.
At least it will solve the clock issue with the current kernel that we have.
