***Update***
I just installed 'andFTP' to my NC via the web based market (so that's working good so far) and this is probably my second favorite app now. quick and simple ftp access from my NC means I can load to my SD from my PC without having to connect it via usb, so I can stay charging or whatever and easily grab files back and forth. woot!

Hey Face...dropbox works like the 'andFTP' and puts a folder on your pc that you just drag and drop files into, that you can then download into your NC and vice versa...

Well that might be pretty nifty also... I was thinking that andFTP would be a nice way to put a bunch of commonly used items onto a single server that anyone could grab from... kind of a friendly repository for the standard rooting and rom files... (plus I do some web hosting so this method has other applications for me)

BUT, all that being said, for simple transfers it sounds like Dropbox is much easier for the constant back and forth with things... does it put files into only one folder on the sd or can you have sub-folders, etc?

On the NC it puts them in the dropbox folder on your SD card, but you can move files around astro pretty easy.

and if you go onto dropbox.com after you are all installed, you can move stuff to the public folder and it will give you a public url (I am using it for pics like screenshots and such) that way I have a url to put in my posts.
