Those sites do exist, but you won't see them listed on this forum. Downloading from sites like that is dangerous, because the app could contain a virus and it's also illegal. Posting links to one is a violation of forum rule 16 and will result in the poster being banned from the forum.

16. Do not provide links or reference to any warez, or illegitimate software of any kind. All such links will be removed.

Ya spider, you are right. It creates a risk to use those types of sites. Thanks for a good reply.

I download ebooks from Free-eBooks.net. There have many books collection which is paid version and easily can download thoese books for free.

Couple of app stores that seem to be geared towards the devices that aren't Google certified are SlideMe and GetJar. The Play Store and Amazon AppStore have others, just search for appstores.

Is there an app for SlideMe, or do you just use it from the browser?
