Freescale iMX515 SDK Updated to Support Gingerbread, Shanzhai Tablet to Follow Suit

Freescale's site is down for maintenance, but their newest SDK allows builds of Android 2.3 on kernel 2.6.35

This should be might be an easy port for existing IMX515 implementations.

There has been evidence that at least one shanzhai manufacturer is in on this.

unfortunately I can't get the kernel to work with that SDK. The kernel loads but I can not get the screen to work, all I get is backlight no image

has anyone gotten a kernel that they have compiled to load and have a screen driver that works yet?
