Samba for rooted nook color works , no need for B&N Cable anymore

Samba on my NC so simple I couldn't figure it out. A I had to do was install and enable for my AT&T Router to all NC to connect. I then can go to my WIN XP desktop and in Network places found it. NC samba menu, settings bring up Username and Password fill out and away you go.

Does anyone read this forum for Nook Color?

Yep we do. And there is even a thread (and numerous posts) about using Samba I'm glad you have it figured out but you might want to keep the B&N cable for charging
