using yahoo email on viewsonic g tablet

i know you smart folks can help. can't get g tab to accept my yahoo account. can anyone explain? seriously, i need to have these things explained to me as if were a three year old(who has a slow learning curve).

i can't even begin to imagine how i would sucessfully root this g tab without crashing the entire internet. sincerely, mk

Do you have a Yahoo Plus account?
Once upon a time that was the only type of email account Yahoo would allow you to access offline.
What email app are you using?
Most just ask for your email address and password, then set up the account automatically.
I don't use the stock Rom so my help will be limited.

As they say in the commercials, "There's an app for that.". The Amazon market has a free app called Roid Mail for viewing, sending and receiving mail for Yahoo accounts.
