I'm flashed to the Singapore ROM and also got my S7 from BB. I have had trouble with the barcode scanner app at times even with the BB USA ROM. It seem's to work sometimes and then it just can't lock on the code so, I am using ShopSavy scanner instead and it never fails.

Flashed back to. BB rom. Didn't appear to make any difference. Flashed back to the singapore rom.

Barcode scanner does say it need autofocus for 1d barcodes. A qr barcode on my N900 screen scanned fine.

The major difference is the ability to get the CPU running at 998mHz. Everything is so much smoother.

Do not know what i did wrong but my cpu max. Freq setting in setcpu is still 758mhz and i don't have acces to compass!?
installed C60B011 firmware. Same thing

Majael, Not all tablets seem to be able to be overclocked, I installed the same kernel and wasn't able to overclock the device.

Remember in all reality, changing the firmware is not for the faint of heart.

dude is something we dont know. the modified version of boot.img for overclocking worked like a charm

Thanks to shanksv and kev for their posts on flashing a new rom. Had no problems and it works great! Lost voice search too and got it from xda.

with this rom do we need to change the wpa suplicant so we can tether too? if so which method or which wpa suplicant will be best for it?

Just changed to the singapore Rom from the bestbuy rom.

I love it, speed running at 998 and I added a custom boot animation and aps2sd

And the full rotation on the screen is nice also...

just need to go back and add the adhoc support and I will be good to go until 2.3 comes out

Best thing that I could have done.
