One has to do complete wipe to use Auto Noter for 1.1.0 right ? Then which is easiest and safest method ?

Complete Wipe > Update to 1.1.0 > Auto Nooter

or

Stay on current version > Root > Pre Rooted 1.1.0 ?

I feel latter method is quite easy.

And it went well for me.

Is there anyway to go back after you root if you don't like it? I'm debating on rooting the wife's NC but idk if she will like it.

Yeah you can go back to unrooted. You would have to factory restore.

I feel latter method is quite easy.

Both are fine it depends on how you want to go about it. If you already have clockwork it may just be easier to load the rom instead of removing clockwork and factory restore.

Read through the directions for both, and find the one that makes most sense to you and you feel most comfortable with.

Its all personal preference.

If you are rooted already, then just install the pre-rooted 1.1 ROM...if you aren't, then update to 1.1 and then run autonooter 3.0 (that's how I would do it anyway.)

No, I think you are stuck with resetting...I don't think there is a pre-rooted 1.0.1 ROM
