Just installed! Did not wipe except dalvik cache and working fine with all my apps still there. Is there a way to get rid of contacts, sms, and phone in launcher pro?
Nice work!

I updated via the update.zip as on the coby website. It seemed to go fine, but I am not sure it took. I had the black screen background initially, but the live leaves wallpaper after I rebooted. Also, I can not sign into my google account, the calendar app crashes when going to My Calendars and does not sync, obviously. Google Market doesn't download or install any apps either. I am going to try the clockwork method when I have some time.

1.1 so far is great. It does seem to be more responsive. The calendar is fixed. However I don't contacts are not synching with Google.

Looking good so far, will put it through lots of testing this afternoon....btw, if I edit the build.prop to a density of 160, will I lose the custom icons again like in 1.0c?

I've started to use this rom, but can't get busybox installed. Can anyone give me some suggestions, please.

su works for me, and i format everything but /nand and /sdcard when i install. make sure you didn't accidentally deny su access for something in the SuperUser app. busybox is already installed (in fact, a lot of /system/bin is just symlinks to busybox).

i haven't messed with the mdpi icons yet... too busy trying to get other stuff done.. and isn't 160 a bit small for a device this large?? (screenshot of this density, pls)

Another great job, l_n! We've loaded it on 2 tabs so far.
"Flash" still works too, at least for the CBS videos !
This may be a Kyros setting I cannot find rather than a build issue, but I notice the time & volume buttons are much harder to see against a dark notification bar. Is there any adjustment criteria you can suggest?

You actually have to hack services.jar to change the clock color. I opted not to do the edit simply because I liked the muted effect of the black on grey. I may make a separate zip with notification color edits if there is enough of a demand to warrant the extra time to do it.

I don't think it is too small at all....I find that 160 makes it easier to navigate web pages and menus. It also makes the tablet look like it has a much higher resolution than it really does. Many have not believed me when I tell them the actual resolution on the Kyros after showing them the tablet with this setting. It sucks too because now i can't go back to anything over 160 now because it makes everything look "fuzzier" now. Per your request, I have attached screenshots of my tablet with the density set at 160.
